★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We walked from Atami station so it was very hilly everywhere but the sea view from top of the mountain was breath taking. The rose garden was highly maintained and beautiful even though we went during low season. There were hammocks and places to chill. Recommend going during a sunny day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A super huge mythical garden in a middle of nowhere. You need to ride their bus to go on top(of the mountain) . They also have kiosk where you can buy foods,drinks and souvenirs. sea, garden,mountains,fresh air it is

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place for pictures. Nice little cafe at the top Probably best in the fall or spring seasons (I went in the summer). If you're with kids, I don't recommend using a stroller.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Akao Herb & Rose Garden was absolutely amazing! I visited during tulip season and it was gorgeous. There were so many beautiful flowers, hiking trails, a cafe, and rest areas. I was so happy because I visited on a rainy Saturday and there were not many people. It was very peaceful and pristine.It was so worth the 1200yen.??????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ love the place but better to go there in the spring and autumn, summer is so hot can't enjoy much, coeda restaurant is nice, the view are beautiful, most popular spots might need to fall in lines like the swing and the spot in front of coeda.went aug and theres not much flowers blooming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Herb and rose garden out of nowhere. With beautiful flowers ans herbs.
They have a bus to ride inside . Usually people go up the hill by bus and come down walking and enjoying views.
At the top they have shrine, botanical garden and a cafe. As you stroll down you will enjoy great views and some surprises waiting for you .
Cafe is nice with different pizza menu.
Shop is good.
For access: bus stop is just outside the garden.
