Amazingly juicy meat. This place focuses on making one thing and making it extremely well. I can't think of anything they can or should do differently. Even the sauce for the cabbage was exceptional! I'll definitely be coming again.

I refused the soft drink Google review bribe. I want to review this place honestly for the food and vibe, disregarding the 2 hour wait time (Monday, started queuing at 6.20PM). The food is a weak 2/5. I have eaten tonnes of beef in my life and this meat ranked on the lower end of the spectrum. It is pretty much a thin, cheap cut of beef crumbed. No marbling, no juiciness, just plain, home brand beef. It is served rare. You are issued a cooking apparatus to prepare it to your liking. On your tray is the 130 or 260 grams of gyukatsu, a tasty seaweed soup, not so tasty puréed yam to top your rice, pollock fish roe, shredded white cabbage, wasabi paste, a small pickle and two sauces for the beef (soy sauce, horseradish and onion). There is also a Worcestershire sauce for the cabbage. The horseradish onion sauce is exquisite. Instructions on how to eat the food are issued to those who request it. The vibe is okay. There are two floors of seating — B1F (under 10 people) and G (13 people). Smoky, brightly lit, not lively or inviting. Pretty much like a Yoshinoya. The reason it takes time to get inside is the preparation of the beef. Some take long to prepare their meat on the cooking apparatus. Others eat it rare off the plate.

Its super delicious. Its must eat in tokyo. The fried beed steak is so juicy and I am still remember the taste. Many people are waiting you need wait about one to two hours so its better for free traveler. I can not find another kind fried steak rice again. I will eat again next time when I go there.

It was okay, beef was good. Cooking experience and sauces were also fun. I guess I just expected more from the ratings haha. The yam was too gooey and slimy, not really to my liking.

Fantastic fried beef cutlet, breaded on the outside, rare on the inside. You can pan sear the meat to your liking as they’ve cut the steak into small strips. I recommend to sear both side of the meat until it’s not red, it’ll be around medium rare on the inside. Most delicious ever! But due to the touristy location, wait time would be a bit long.

Usually I’d write a few words and post a couple of pictures of a decent meal. This however, was no ordinary meal. The restaurant is cozy with an authentic Japanese themed layout and the staff weren’t hindered by the language barrier. But I honestly wouldn’t mind eating besides a dumpster while my year 4 maths teacher screams at me for the duration of the meal, if it means I can enjoy this place one more time. It’s that good. If you ever find yourself in Tokyo, do yourself a favour and head over.

One of the best gyukatsu in japan. We had lunch at this place because it was so close with our hotel and asakusa temple, but it turned out to be one of the best dish we tried during our trip to Japan. The meat was juicy and delicious. Come early so you don't have to queue for a long time. Definitely worth a visit and we will come back for sure.

The best Gyukatsu I’ve ever eaten. The meet was soo juicy and tender. The restaurant itself is not so big but that was not a big issue for me as the food have satisfied me ??
