パパっと手早く作ったであろうパスタピザは、どれもGOOD。手慣れてることがうまいにつながってるんですよね。まさに職人シェフ。ランチ1500円は納得でしょう。津和野を通った際はぜひ立ち寄りたいお店です。

小さな店で、お洒落な雰囲気。 でも、テーブルはかなり小さく、出てくる料理の皿を置ききれない。 シェアしようとして小皿を出汁てもらってもそれを置けない。 観光地の店なのに、手荷物や鞄を置く場所も無い。 今回はランチ利用だが、客の数に対する、料理を作るのと配膳をするのの力が足りていなさすぎる。 水さえ中々出てこない。 サラダやドリンクも、注文からかなり経った頃に出てきて、メインのパスタは入店から一時間程経っての登場。 味は普通に美味しい。 けど、こんなに待たされる店は、日本では中々経験が無かった。
A small shop with a stylish atmosphere. But the table is so small that I can't put all the dishes out. I can't put a small plate on it when I try to share it. Although it is a tourist spot, there is no place to put baggage or bags. This time it's for lunch, but the number of customers is too weak to cook and serve. Not even water comes out. Salads and drinks also came out a long time after the order, and the main pasta appeared about an hour after entering the store. The taste is delicious. However, I haven't had much experience in Japan in such a long-awaited store.

This is the second time we stopped at this restaurant while visiting Tsuwano and the second time they refused us service. “Reservation only” they told us. Even though the place was completely empty and off peak hours they still said no. I understand if they were full or it was a busy period. Be wary.

A family owned restaurant that has been renovated from nothing to a lovely little Italien restaurant. The owners (a young couple with two adorable kids) were lovely. I have tried some Italien attempts in Japan and they have been horrible experiences to put it mildly. Artigiano is none of that. The tagliatelle was perfectly alienate with a good amount of fresh vegetables that had been lightly boiled. Fantastic. The pizza had an amazing dough, succulent, rich and moist. No hard edges. Made in a wood fired Owen as I understood. The mozzarella was good and the tomato sauce was made from scratch and amazing. As a swede I'm used to too much salt, but I didn't mind here (not because it was salty, because it wasn't), because the taste was so good! It's worth talking the steam locomotive for two hours just to enjoy this beautiful and nice little restaurant in the middle of the mountains!

I had a lunch and a business dinner in this restaurant, and it was superb both times. The pasta was very good, but my favorite is the pizza they serve. The pizza here is not just delicious, but finally, a real size pizza (compared to the mini-pizza popular in Japan). According to my Italy-traveled friend, this place can be compared to restaurants in Italy, but I did appreciate the small Japanese infusion, like Shirasu on pasta. It compliments the Italian roots with a dash of Japaneseness.
