★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今回は主人の誕生日（2日）・主人の退院祝い・結婚記念日（17日）・私の誕生日（18日）の記念で利用させて頂きました。予約はサイトからでしたが、その際に要望として「記念日なので夕食時は騒がしくないお席を」とお願いしました。
チェックインの際、フロントの男性から「結婚記念日おめでとうございます！記念にこちらをお持ち帰り下さいませ！」とエコバックのプレゼントを頂きました。予想していなかったプレゼント、とても嬉しかったです。
その後はお風呂や部屋で過ごし、そして夕食会場へ。予想通りレストラン内は騒がしいなぁと思っていたところ、案内されたのはなんと個室でした。乾杯の際に担当の男性スタッフさんが「ご結婚記念日おめでとうございます！」とお祝いの言葉を言って下さったり、次々に運ばれてくる美味しい料理。こちらで記念日を迎えられて本当に良かったと思えました。
ただ、改善して頂きたい事もあります。
お部屋の換気扇がとてもうるさく、就寝する際に止めたところ、今度は隣の部屋からのご婦人方の会話が丸聞こえ。これに関しては夜中に大騒ぎしている宿泊客のマナー違反だと思いますが。
それから、敷布団は寝ていてとても気持ち良く、次の日に体の痛みが消えていたのには驚きました。が、問題は掛布団。良い物を使っていらっしゃると思いますが、私には重く、寝返りを打つ度にゴワゴワと音がうるさくて（主人が寝返りを打つ時も同様に）眠れませんでした。
お部屋ではあまり快適に過ごす事ができませんでしたが、今日は私も誕生日を迎え、今朝チェックアウト前には他に人がいない露天風呂で雪を眺めながら貸切状態の入浴をする事ができました。最高の時間でした。
是非また伺いたいと思います。この度は沢山のご配慮ありがとうございました。そしてお世話になりました。

After that, spend time in the bath or room, and then go to the dinner venue. As expected, I thought the restaurant was noisy, but I was guided to a private room. At the time of the toast, the male staff in charge said "Congratulations on your wedding anniversary!" And congratulated us on the delicious food that was brought in one after another. I was really happy to have an anniversary here.
However, there are some things I would like you to improve.
The ventilation fan in the room was very noisy, and when I stopped it when I went to bed, I could hear the conversation of the ladies from the next room. I think this is a violation of the manners of guests who are making a fuss in the middle of the night.
Then the mattress was very comfortable sleeping and I was surprised that the pain in my body disappeared the next day. But the problem is the comforter. I think you're using a good one, but I couldn't sleep because it was heavy and noisy every time I turned over (as well as when my husband turned over).
I wasn't very comfortable in my room, but today I'm celebrating my birthday, and before checking out this morning, I was able to take a private bath while watching the snow in the open-air bath where no one else was there. rice field. It was the best time.
I would love to visit you again. Thank you for your consideration. And thank you for your help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful Ryokan in Miyagi , close to Sendai. The food (Kaiseki Ryori) is delicious, good and very friendly staff. The Garden is beautiful. Good onsen as well provided there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite hot springs in Sendai. For this price you can enjoy thermal bath with healing mineral water, lot of iron. There is also outdoor bath, light up with fire and true japanese atmosphere. The dinner is amazing and breakfast is just overwhelming, Japanese or western food. I can not imagine better rest then in this place. Very recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was confused whether to choose this (more expensive) than an old onsen in Sakunami (cheaper) for my family’s first onsen experience. I made the wrong choice.
The outdoor hot spring was good (but it’s quite far so you have to walk outdoor in a chilly weather to reach it, at least for men’s). The food was good as well.
What gave me a bad impression was the hospitality.
My mother had a terrible migraine in the morning so I asked if it’s possible to request a simple breakfast in the room in exchange of the buffet included in the plan. The staff coldly declined. It’s okay since it’s only a request, but the manner of saying no was disappointing. In the end, I had to have my mother walk and fall in line for the breakfast buffet. Falling in line for breakfast was a first in my seven years here in Japan!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was really clean and the facilities in room were pretty modern as well. We really enjoyed the food, facilities and the considerate service. Though we couldn’t understand Japanese which may caused us miss the chance to get to know more about the hotel culture, the crew was patient to explain everything for us. Overall, thank you all for giving us a unforgettable stay in Akiu.
