★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 雨乞いのあか池に伝わる民話は日本昔話に取り上げられ放送されました。案内板のある位置からは少し離れています。周りは同じような風景で見つけづらいですが、案内板の先を進めば突き当りに存在します。場所的には雲岩のした辺りです。底なしの池と聞いていますので、水深は想像以上に深く4ｍ程度あるかもしれません。かき混ぜると大雨が降るそうです。自分が訪問した時には雨が降っていて挑戦はしませんでしたが、いつかはチャレンジしたいです。
 The folk tales transmitted to the raindrop Akaike were featured in Japanese folktales and broadcast. It is a bit away from where the signboard is. It is hard to find the surroundings in the same scenery, but if you go ahead of the sign board, it exists at the end. The location is around the cloud rock. I heard it is a bottomless pond, so the depth of the water may be about 4m deeper than expected. It seems that heavy rain will occur when stirring. When I visited, it was raining and I didn't try it, but I want to challenge it someday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ メインの散策路を外れて「あか池」まで山の斜面を縫うように付いた細い道を進んだ先にありました。池、とはいえない水たまりのような小さな窪みにすこしだけ水が溜まってました。この池についての伝承を記した案内板がありましたが、ここがかつて山岳密教寺院であったのなら密教に付き物の「閼伽井(あかい)」だったのではないでしょうか。密教の儀式に使用する聖水を汲む水場では？と想像します。
It was off the main walking path and was on a narrow road that sewed the slope of the mountain to "Akaike". A little water was collected in a small depression like a puddle, which was not a pond. There was a guide board that describes the tradition of this pond, but if this was a mountain esoteric Buddhist temple, it would have been the "Akai" that accompanies esoteric Buddhism. At a water place that draws holy water used for esoteric rituals? Imagine that.
