★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 上輪海水浴場の端、旧信越線3号隧道の脇の断崖から流れ落ちています。滝壺の脇には不動様が祀られています。
なお、明治36年に出版された「北越鉄道案内」では、この滝が次のように紹介されている。
白糸の瀑布 第三号隧道西口の断崖にあり
車窓より望見せば 其の水量少なけれども
幾條の飛泉天空より流下して 其状白糸を
垂れたるが如し 因て此称 あり

It flows from the side cliff of the old Shinetsu Line No. 3 Kushido on the edge of the Kamiwa beach. Imbo-sama is enshrined beside the waterfall.
