★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve been there a handful of times and the pizza is above average. Unfortunately on our third visit the waitress yelled at us to sit down as we stood up to pay the bill at the counter - resulting in glares from the other guests and a lot of embarrassment for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Italian restaurant with high quality food; looks like they use very good ingredients including vegetables, mozzarella and meat (I had horse meat). Pizza and main dishes are all good. Service is slow and while it's courteous and polite, not polished considering the cost range.

A restaurant with a good atmosphere and very nice staff. We didn’t make a reservation when we arrived at 7:30pm but maybe it is better to reserve before hand.
The “caprese” is also famous and good as the homemade sausages too.
Definitely a place to enjoy good pizzas in Karuizawa!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was walk in with my Japanese wife and ask for 2 ppl . They said is full. I go out and ask my wife to call and order place for two ppl and suddenly it was available. I knew I was rejected because I’m foreigner.
This kind of places shouldn’t be exists in our world.
Just shame!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are so happy to get a table finally on a weeknight. Tried to come here for lunch twice on the weekend but it was always full.
The portions are quite small but everything from appetizers to pasta and pizzas is delicious and they have an extensive wine list. The interior is rustic but sophisticated. Will definitely come again.
