八	八尾人やおんちゅ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 光平は林に生まれ、早くから国学を学び、江戸の伴信友に師事した、弘化二（一八四五）年教恩寺の住職となり十六年間住んだが、仏事勤行よりも国典を講じ、和歌を教えまた御陵の調査に専念し、大阪、河内、大和に門人多く書画をよくした。　文久二（一八六三）年、天誅組の旗上に参加、のち捕えられて京都六角で処刑された。　生前大和、大阪の往復のさい、この地北方の十三街道を通っており大正三年光平五十年忌にあたり、河内の有志がこの墓をたてた。【出典：『史跡の道・説明石板』（八尾郷土文化推進協議会・八尾菊花ライオンズクラブ・八尾市教育委員会、1981年）】 Kohei was born in Hayashi, studied national studies from an early stage, and studied under Nobutomo Ban in Edo. He also devoted himself to the investigation of the Imperial Mausoleum, and made many priests in Osaka, Kawachi, and Yamato. In Bunkyu 2 (1863), he participated in the Tenchugumi flag and was later captured and executed at Kyoto Rokkaku. During the round trip between Yamato and Osaka during his lifetime, he passed through the 13 highways north of this area, and on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Kohei in the 3rd year of the Taisho era, volunteers from Kawachi built this tomb.
