た	たま“tamatyan”ちゃん on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 碑は、小泉八雲（ラフカディオ・ハーン）の小説「雪おんな」の舞台は青梅だった（？）として平成14（２００２）年に地元有志が建てたもの。この青梅説は町おこしの格好の話題として当時、関係者の間で大きな反響を呼んだ。青梅説はその数年前、『怪談』の序文に着目したことが発端だった。序文には「『雪おんな』は、武蔵の国、多摩郡、調布の農夫が話した、村に伝わる昔話を基にして書いた」とあり、序文通りなら、「雪おんな」の原話の舞台は青梅の旧調布村（現・千ヶ瀬・長淵一帯）ということになる。碑は横長の黒御影石で、碑面には「縁」の文字、裏面にハーンの著書『ＫＷＡＩＤＡＮ』（怪談）の表紙が彫ってある。 The monument was built by local volunteers in 2002 as the setting of the novel "Yuki Onna" by Lafcadio Hearn was Ome (?). The monument is a horizontally long black granite, with the letters "edge" engraved on the front and the cover of Hahn's book "KWAIDAN" (ghost story) on the back.
