中国の城は町を城壁で囲み「王様と家臣、そして国民が一緒に」その中に入った。日本のお城は「殿様の親族だけ」が城の中で暮らした。
古城は国分氏の城があった場所で古城と呼ばれていました。その後、伊達政宗が隠居暮らしのための城が建てられ、その城は若林城と呼ばれています。古城と呼ばれていた地域のほうが広く、古城の城は国分氏の城を指します。どちらの城も一人の人のために建てられた城です。
今、この場所は少年院となっていて、外からの攻撃に備えるのではなく、矯正の場所として「閉じ込める」ものとなっていることは皮肉ですね。
そして、史跡を大事にしない宮城県をここにも見ることができる良い場所です。

The old castle was the place where Kokubu's castle was and was called the old castle. Later, Masamune Date built a castle for retirement, and that castle is called Wakabayashi Castle. The area that was called the old castle is larger, and the old castle refers to the castle of Kokubun. Both castles are castles built for one person.
Now, it's ironic that this place is a juvenile institute and is not a place to prepare for attacks from the outside, but rather a place to "trap" as a place for correction.
And it's a good place to see Miyagi prefecture where you don't care about historic sites.
