★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 墳長約110m。
埋葬施設は竪穴式、竹割型木棺。
昔、米軍が墳丘の砂を持っていったり、また住民に畑にされたり...やりたい放題でしたが、現在になってやっと史跡公園として落ち着きました。
前方部の右角が削られてます。バイパスを通ると見えます。

久々に行きました。
古墳は相変わらずです。
ただ、後円部にえぐられたような箇所がありますね。今更気づきました。
 Muscle length about 110 m.
Burial facility is vertical type, bamboo split type tree coffin.
Long ago, the US military brought sand of the mound and were made into fields as residents ... All you wanted to do was finally settled down as a historical park.
The right corner of the front part is cut off. You will see it going through bypass.

I went for a long time.
The burial mounds are as ever.
However, there are places like gouged by the back circle. I noticed it now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駐車場などの整備がされていないため、訪れる人の少ない史跡です?それでも、春には隣の小学校の桜並木の淡いピンク?初夏から秋までは、目に鮮やかな緑の 一面のフィールドに様変わり?
また、周囲に障害物がなく、 千恋を通して強めの風が吹いていることもあり、カイトを上げている親子も?？
ちょっとした散策コースに加えるには、好適の史跡です?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東北地方第三位の大規模前方後円墳。自転車で斜面をかけおりる者、段ボールでそりすべりをする者、凧あげする者など季節を問わず近所の子供達の昔からの遊び場であった。バイパス沿いでそばに駐車場はないが歩いて8分の所と13分の所の駐車場に停めて散歩がてらに歩いて来るのも良いかも。見晴らしは霞目自衛隊駐屯地のおかげで周囲がビル開発されずに、昔と変わらない開けた視界。
The third largest large-scale front-rear burial mound in the Tohoku region. It has been a traditional playground for children in the neighborhood, regardless of the season, such as those who ride bicycles on slopes, those who sledding with cardboard, and those who fly kites. There is no parking lot near the bypass, but it may be good to park at the parking lots 8 minutes and 13 minutes on foot and walk for a walk. The view is the same as in the past, with the surrounding area not being developed thanks to the Kasuminome Self-Defense Force camp.

同じように知らない人のお墓の上に登ったら怒られると思いますが、ここは気にする必要がありません。
自分の首が取れてドローンになったらいいのになあと思いました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年10月16日に見学しました。国道4号線沿いに立地しています。宮城県内では、雷神山古墳に次いで2番目に大きい前方後円墳です。4世紀末から5世紀初頭に造られた豪族の首長が眠っている古墳だと考えられています。空港建設や国道拡張工事で、前方部分の角が欠けてしまったと聞きました。今は、公園になっていて、後円部のてっぺんにも登れて、ユニークだと思います。
We visited on October 16, 2021. It is located along Route 4. In Miyagi prefecture, it is the second largest front-rear burial mound after Raijinyama Kofun. It is believed to be an ancient burial mound where the chiefs of the powerful tribes, built from the end of the 4th century to the beginning of the 5th century, are sleeping. I heard that the corner of the front part was missing due to the construction of the airport and the expansion of the national highway. It's a park now, and I think it's unique because you can climb to the top of the back circle.
