★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 陸奥国分寺、現存していないお寺ですが薬師堂は残っています。伊達政宗の威厳が感じられる由緒あるお寺です。
宮城県仙台市若林区木下にある真言宗智山派の寺院。護国山医王院国分寺と号す。本尊は薬師如来。
聖武天皇の発願によって建立された国分寺の1つで、奈良時代の740年代頃に創建された。平安時代まで陸奥国の財政的支持を受けて大伽藍を維持したが、室町時代には著しく衰微した。真言宗になった時期は不明。17世紀初めに伊達政宗により再興され、1607年に建てられた薬師堂を中心に25坊を擁する大寺院として栄えた。明治時代に僧坊は1つを残して廃絶したが、薬師堂をはじめとする中心堂宇は維持された。
 Mutsu Kokubunji is a temple that does not exist yet, but the Yakushido remains. It is a historical temple where you can feel the dignity of Date Masamune.
A temple of the Tochiyama school of the Shingon sect located in Kinoshita, Wakabayashi Ward, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. Gokokuzan Ioin Kokubunji. The principal image is Yakushi Nyorai.
It is one of the Kokubunji temples that was built at the request of Emperor Shomu and was built around the 740s in the Nara period. Until the Heian period, it retained the great cathedral under the financial support of Mutsu, but during the Muromachi period it declined significantly. It is unknown when it became a Shingon sect. It was revived by Date Masamune in the early 17th century and prospered as a large temple with 25 temples centered around the Yakushido built in 1607. In the Meiji era, one monk was abolished, but the central temple, including the Yakushido, was maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山門、狛犬目当てで行きました。歴史を感じることが出来ますが、あまり大切にされてないイメージも。何度も行く場所ではありません。
I went to Yamamon and Komainu. You can feel the history, but there are also images that are not very important. It is not a place to go many times.

桜の季節がおすすめです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今年もどんと祭に行きました。16時過ぎは、点火式の後なので人集り凄くて、正月飾りなどのお焚き上げを係にお願いして、お焚き上げの火に手を合わせて来ました。

仁王門は大きくて立派な山門です。
修復しているそうで、古いのに傾きも全くありません。
奉られているいる仁王さんを上手く撮影できませんでした。
