記念館の方の話によると、戦前まで生家は残っていたそうですが、空襲で焼失してしまったそうです。残念！資料館には戦前の生家の写真が展示されています。
It is the birthplace of Kamo no Mabuchi. Nowadays, a monument to honor Mabuchi is erected.
According to the memorial hall, the birthplace remained before the war, but it was destroyed by air raids. Sorry! Pictures of the prewar birthplace are displayed in the museum.

Second visit to Kamo no Mabuchi Memorial Hall. He is a great man of Hamamatsu and a teacher of Norinaga Motoori. The hanging shrine is next door.
