★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 待ち合わせの間に利用。狭いスペースで名古屋への空襲メインの展示。
当時の自動車産業などを思い起こす資料なども貴重だと思うが、展示数的にはそこまで多いわけでもなく、どこかで見たような展示ばかり。
B29のCG動画とかは迫力ある感じだけど、あの動力音はずっと聞くときが滅入る。
どっちかって言うと建物がとてもステキな石造りなので、もう少しそのへんを考慮した方が良いのでは？

I think that materials that remind us of the automobile industry at that time are also valuable, but the number of exhibits is not so large, and only the exhibits that we saw somewhere.
The CG movie of B29 seems to be powerful, but that power sound is always disappointing.
If anything, the building is made of very nice stone, so it would be better to consider that a little more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一定期間で展示内容が入れ替わるとのことで、今回は、前回と違った内容だった(次回は11月に入れ替わるとのこと)。
戦時下の一般市民がどう生活していたかに興味がある自分は、日記や手紙が興味深かった。
また、焼夷弾で溶けたガラス瓶や毒ガスマスク、毒ガスの種類や匂い、吸い込んだ時の症状などが詳細に書いてある手帳(本だったか…?)はじっくりと読んできた。
おざわゆき先生のお父様のシベリア抑留記はずっと読んでみたかったのだが、図書コーナーに置いてあるのを見つけ、思わず一気読みしてしまった(受付の男性が、まったく姿を見せない自分の様子を見に来てました、すみませんでした)。
夏休みの宿題のために来館していたと思われる親子連れ、撮影禁止と書いてあるのにスマホのカメラシャッター押しまくり…見て見ぬ振りか。
時期的なものもあるが
1度訪れておいて損はないと思う。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名古屋市にある第二次世界大戦の名古屋空襲をとりあげた資料館です。無料です。
展示はワンフロアのみですが、ひとつひとつ見入ってしまいますし、関連図書も豊富なので時間を確保してから訪問した方が良いと思います。
こんな資料館は残酷で暗い歴史を残してるだけですが、戦争を経験した人達がどんどんといなくなる現代においてはなくてはならない、後世に伝えていかなければいけないものだと思います。
あちこち訪れた各地、私の故郷にも同じく空襲被害を受けました。今の日本は戦争なんか関係ないという風潮ですし、それが1番いいと思います。
しかし、過去にあった事実を受け止め、二度と戦争を起こさない起こさせない努力をしなければいけないと思います。
是非とも若い世代にこそ、まずは知ることから初めて欲しいと個人的に思います。

This is a museum in Nagoya that covers the air raids on Nagoya during World War II. Free.
The exhibition is only on one floor, but you will be able to see each one, and there are plenty of related books, so I think it is better to visit after securing time.
Such a museum only has a cruel and dark history, but I think it must be passed down to posterity, which is indispensable in the present age when the number of people who have experienced war is steadily disappearing.
The places I visited and my hometown were also hit by air raids. The current trend in Japan is that it has nothing to do with war, and I think that is the best.
However, I think we must accept the facts that existed in the past and make efforts to prevent war from happening again.
I personally want the younger generation to start by knowing what they are doing.
