★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 史跡の説明板に「粉糠山の名前は、中世青墓宿の遊女たちが化粧に使った粉糠を捨てたものが積もって小山となったことに由来します。」とあります。過去へのロマンをかきたてる逸話が由来なのですね。古墳の主が徳の高い人なら、現在共同墓地として利用されていることも含めて天から古墳の変遷をほほえましく眺めていることでしょう。
