私はここを訪ねるに当たって、某GMap(あれれ?)
Oh, it looks like Manpukuji Temple in Uji. It's oval properly. The window of the Daiyuhoden (main hall) is not a fire-head window but a circular window. At Manpukuji, a Budai (one of the Seven Lucky Gods in Japan, but a real monk who was in the Song Dynasty and is considered to be an incarnation of Maitreya) is enshrined in a separate hall from the main hall, but here it is enshrined on the right side of the main hall. ing. In the past, it was said that the temples were lined up like the temple of Uji, but now there are only gates other than the main hall. Is it because of the abbreviated cathedral operation that the umpan and fish plates are hung on the eaves of the main hall? This was designated as a national important cultural property about 30 years ago. When I saw the news, I was deeply moved by the fact that the architecture in the middle of Edo was designated as an Important Cultural Property. The slope of the roof of Dou is a little steep, not only because of the taste of the times, but also because the rain in the Kanto plain is harder than above. Furthermore, in the last years of Heisei, Kengo Kuma's Shoin and temple office buildings were added. It has a very unique texture. A U-shaped flat one-story house that uses a lot of bare wood and surrounds a very shallow square pond. It is very beautiful to see the main hall from the entrance. In late summer, a lot of dragonflies were flying around, which made me feel relieved. It's so beautiful that I want to take a picture, but no matter where I cut it, the concrete high-rise building (not so much, but violently high from the Edo period building) is reflected. In Europe, the old and new towns are stunned by the walls, but in Japan this is not the case. If you treat the big fire that is said to be the flower of Edo (it's a half-burnt), the reconstruction of the city except for the unburned part will be done all at once, that is, it is standard to become a mixed old and new Dandara city. So it doesn't seem like it can't be helped. There were no high-rise buildings in the city of Dandara called Edo. In modern architecture, the temple side is on the back, so it's a shame that some of them lack aesthetics. It would be "unavoidable" to bring out economic efficiency, but it still leaves a feeling of being a little uncomfortable. Almost half a century ago, I passed Meguro-dori next to this temple on a weekly basis in a car driven by my parents, but I didn't stop at that time (in the first place, about this temple). I didn't even know it). I am grateful that the subway has opened today and access has improved dramatically. However, the improvement of convenience also increases the number of large condominiums. Oh. This temple has an open gate facing Meguro Dori, but it is not the main gate. The front gate faces south opposite Shirokane Elementary School. When I visited here, I followed the navigation of a certain GMap (that?), But it was properly fitted. In the end, I went around a narrow road along the temple area, but thanks to that, I was able to approach from the front gate, so I don't think it's a grudge. The gate in the attached photo is the gate, and the temple name is listed, and the temples are hung on the left and right like a Zen temple.

The cherry blossoms were very beautiful! The basin is filled with water, making it a very well-designed temple. Goshuin received two types of writing. There were few people and I could see it slowly.

It's a very nice temple. I had some time to come to Shirokanedai, so I was playing around with it, so I went inside to get a red stamp. I seemed to enter from the back gate, and I entered from a small gate, but the inside was very wide. When you go to the temple office, a young man will take care of you, and if you tell him the red stamp, will you choose either the Seven Lucky Gods or the principal idol? I was asked, so I chose the Seven Lucky Gods. The payment for the red stamp is 300 yen. This is said to be donated to the Red Cross, so put it in something like a piggy bank. The inside of the temple is clean and calm. If you are collecting red stamps, I highly recommend it.

A beautiful temple in Tokyo, it was a very quiet and peaceful experience. I was the only visitor, at the time, and it was very nice and serene to explore the temple grounds. The GoShuin can be received, for ¥300, at the information window which is across the small pond. I highly recommend you to stop by for a visit.
