★ ★ ★ ★ ★ その昔、白金には白金長者、青山には黄金長者がございました。今でも白金長者丸、青山長者丸という地名が残り白金青山の間には笄伝説という恋愛伝説が残ります。さて、白金という名前の由来は白金長者によるものですがその白金黄金に対して白金小学校の校歌には「黄金白金それよりもまさる心の真白玉」という歌詞が謳われています。白金の名称を冠しておいてカネよりも心が第一と言い切るのは並大抵のことではできません、この心意気を大事にしてきた歴代校長の教育姿勢に畏敬の念を持ちます。
A long time ago, there were platinum elders in Shirokane and golden elders in Aoyama. Even now, the names of Shirokane Chojamaru and Aoyama Chojamaru remain, and a love legend called Samurai Legend remains between Shirokane Aoyama. By the way, the name of Shirokane originates from the chief of Shirokane, but Shirokane Elementary School's school song is praised by the Shirokane Elementary School for the lyrics of “Shingotama, a heart that is better than Golden Shirokane”. It's hard to say that the name of platinum is more important than money under the name of platinum, and we have awe in the educational attitude of past principals who have valued this spirit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 登下校時に前を通ると、ボランティアの方がしっかりと交通整理をされていて、いつも感心しています。子供達もあいさつしていて、いい学校なんだろうな、と感じています。もう少ししたら子供がこちらに通う年齢になるので、楽しみですが、こちらでは皆さん中学受験が盛んとのことで、今からすこし心配しています。
When I passed in front of my school when I went to and from school, I was always impressed by the fact that the volunteers were better at controlling traffic. The children are also greeting and I feel that it is a good school. I'm looking forward to the age at which my child will be attending here soon, but I'm a little worried about the fact that everyone is taking the junior high school exam here.
