宮	宮本康弘 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 善通寺塔頭　観智院大同二年(807年)弘法大師の創建にして住時は十善坊と号して一山の寺務を掌握して通行手形等も発行していました。現在の観智院と称するように成ったのは中世に入ってからと云われています。現在の建物は大正十四年に再建されました。本尊の十一面観音菩薩は高松藩主松平公のご息女が庵を結ばれていた寺の本尊を遷したものと云われております。安産、子育ての守護仏として子安観音と婦女子の信仰を集め親しまれている仏様です。また本堂横にある大師修行像は昭和九年、大師一千百年御遠忌のおり建立され周囲の石仏は四国八十八ヵ所霊場のご本尊を配して各寺のお砂が埋められています。この大師修行像の周りを一周すると八十八ヵ所を巡拝した功徳があります。尚、大師像の下は納骨堂に成っており宗派を問わず一般の方々なお骨を納めております。 Zentsuji Tatchu Kanchiin It was founded by Kobo Daishi in the second year of Daido (807), and when he lived there, he was called Juzenbo and took control of the temple affairs of a mountain and issued pass bills.
