篠	篠原竜彦 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 盛岡名物、春から秋の毎週土曜開催‼️岩手県盛岡市の材木町の商店街通りの430メートルを使い、１９７４年にスタートした＜よ市＞・路上買物市。２０２１年の今年はは第４８年目だそうです。（４月～１１月　毎週土曜日15:10～18:30開催）歩行者天国となる通りには、市外からの出店者も含めると、平常時では１００店舗以上のお店が出店していました。旬の野菜や果物、花、海産物や手作のパン、地ビールなど幅広く販売され、お年寄りから家族連れ、中には小さい子供までもが思い思いに楽しい時間を過ごしています。ちなみにこの地名、江戸時代は北上川の舟運が盛んだったそうで、その頃材木商が多かったことから、材木町と名付けられているとのこと。歩行者天国は15:00開始で、そこから各店が一斉に準備開始。15:10からよ市がスタートします。＜よ市＞の由来多種にわたる（萬）余るほど豊富な（余）良い商品を（良）お客様に提供し（与）満足していただく（喜）というように、萬（よろず）、余（よ）、良（よい）、与（よ）、喜（よろこぶ）というたくさんの意味が込められています。（材木町商店街ウェブサイト掲載） Morioka's specialty, held every Saturday from spring to autumn! ️ , a street shopping market that started in 1974, using 430 meters of the shopping street in Zaimoku-cho, Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. E	ERI san on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5年ぶりに訪問しました。コロナ禍ですから人出は以前より少なめでしたが皆さん笑顔で楽しそうに買い物や地ビールを堪能していました。以前の様に食べ飲み歩きは禁止ですがベンチに座って飲めますから大丈夫。盛岡のよ市が大好きです。 I visited for the first time in 5 years. The number of people was less than before because it was a corona disaster, but everyone smiled and enjoyed shopping and local beer. There are vendors selling food, vegetables, handicrafts, baked goods, etc. In addition, the shops along the streets have stands or special sales. I had a great time when I visited -- it's a great way to meet people from the area. Don't miss it if you are in Morioka!

Strolling around on a Saturday is a delightful time, with vendors and shops pulling booths out into the street and creating a large walking market. You can buy vegetables, crafts, and snacks. The shops tend to open up to the street. Bring the family or your dog and enjoy the afternoon.
