★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 浄土真宗本願寺派、今泉山。京都西本願寺の末寺。政宗の家臣、立花一吉が出家して元和3年(1617)に息子一則と共に開基した。鎌倉時代の作と伝えられる十一面観音が祀られているが、中世の武将が今泉城に祀っていたものといわれる。
仙台三十三観音二十九番札所。
南東に前方後円墳があったと伝えられています。
Jodo Shinshu Honganji school, Imaizumiyama. Sueda of Kyoto Nishi Honganji. A Vassal of Masamune, Ichikichi Tachibana, came to the office and opened with a son in 1617. It is said that the eleven-faced Kannon, which is said to have been created during the Kamakura period, was that medieval warlords roamed at Imaizumi Castle.
Sendai Sanjusan Kannon 29th place.
It is reported that there was a fortress in the southeast.
