★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convenient and restaurant variety good especially steak! slopes aren't too challenging though, even intermediate are pretty basic. very good snow during prime months and hardly any people around when we went. not much foreigners as well. interesting resting area using disused train carriages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for people taking the train. Right in front of ECHIGONAGAZATO train station. With slopes that are very beginner friendly. It also has a cable car, lifting you for an advance ski course I guess, haven't tried it though. A go to place for skiing/snow boarding. . .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve done snowboarding in some few places in Japan since I’ve started it here but this is one of the nice place and mostly for beginners to intermediate friendly. We went with our lab members and most of them were beginner. But everyone learned how to ski or snowboarding. I’ll recommend you if you’re a beginner or wanna learn. It was actually hot ? though it was snow.
