★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The central area had no atmosphere at this time of year. The room rate was quite high. The room is a bit outdated. The hotel room was in horrible shape. The towels were not especially thick. The restaurant was relatively small for the number of guests. The ***agement in the hotel is a total joke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A friend and I stayed here for 4 nights as part of a mystery holiday. We are sure the thoughtfulness of the design will be appreciated by ***y today's travellers like us. The traffic is easy to navigate. The concierge desk couldn't do enough for us. Had a simply wonderful stay here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location of the hotel is superb. Generally the hotel is overpriced for what is on offer. There are plenty of great dining options here. The massage centre turned out to be the best of the lot. The rooms with their own private outdoor bath are excellent. Difficult to get the waiters attention.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The communal areas have been refurbished somewhat but the rooms are of different quality. Our room at the end of the hall was quiet. The amenities in the hotel were very good. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to help us. Offer nice price packages over weekends some times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the best ryokan I've been too, the food is average and the dining room looks like a cafeteria to be honest. The baths were nice, we enjoyed the karaoke too, the rooms are spacious. Good for a trip with friends or family!

Outdoor onsen is beautiful but there is no shower, shampoo or any necessity there
Buffet dinner and breakfast are quite good
