★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a long bridge on the lake at this hotel. 名探偵コナン(famous manga) published at this hotel in Manga. There is a Onsen at the middle of bridge, it bit sleepy when it’s raining. You should be careful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in Bokoro for two nights with dinners and breakfasts. All food were delicately prepared and delicious. The dinners for each night were very different so we did not get bored despite staying for consecutive nights. This is not easy task for a traditional hotel. The onsen in lake was spectacular. Indoor onsen was very clean and tidy, among the best in Japan. Staff were polite and professional. The staff that served us spoke very good English. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Bathroom was clean and suitable for children to take a bath / shower. The view was comforting overlooking the lake and residence nearby. Locationwise, there are famous tourist attractions within 15 min of drive. I very much enjoyed the experience.
