★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 由義宮跡の石碑。称徳天皇は道鏡の生まれ故郷であるこの地に都を作る事業を進めていたそうな。天皇は、この地を「西京」とし、政治に対して仏教の都にしようとしたという説があります。
Stone monument of the Yugi-miya ruins. It seems that Emperor Tokuto was promoting a project to create a city in this land where Michigami was born. There is a theory that the emperor made this land "Saikyo" and tried to make it a Buddhist capital against politics.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ さほど大きくはない住宅街にある神社です。道路の西側からしか神社へ入れません。この神社がある場所は、西暦760年代に時の天皇であった称徳天皇の任で弓削道鏡が行宮を設けた場所で、境内に石碑があります。
また、寛政八年(西暦1796年)に奉納された文化財である狛犬が大切に保存されています。
It is a shrine in a residential area that is not so big. You can enter the shrine only from the west side of the road. The location of this shrine is where the archery was set up by the Yugedo mirror on the part of Emperor Shotoku, who was the emperor of the time in the 760s.
In addition, the guardian dog, a cultural property dedicated to the 8th year of the Kansei period (1796 AD), is carefully preserved.

読み間違えやすいが
こちらは『ゆぎ』神社。
住宅と倉庫、店舗が密集するなかにあるので敷地はあまり広くない。
大きめの狛犬が印象的で
先代？の狛犬も社の脇にしっかり奉られてます。
駐車場無し。
前面道路はまあまあ広く交通量も少なめだが路駐は控えたほうが良いと思います。
