Y	Yasuhiro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 神名帳の河内國若江郡の項に記載のある式内社。同名の神社が駅の反対側にも鎮座します。こちらの境内から北東のところに東弓削遺跡があります。東弓削の弓削神社の案内石板には東へ300ｍほどの小字で古宮という場所に元々当社はあった、と書いてあり、まさに東弓削遺跡の場所に当社の元々の鎮座があったのかもしれません。この東弓削遺跡は平成28年9月に由義寺（ゆげでら）の奈良時代の瓦や塔の基壇が発見されています。この基壇の大きさからすると、東大寺の東塔に次ぐ大きさであったと考えられるということです。おそらく、称徳天皇がこの付近に置いたという由義宮（西京）もこの近くにあったのでしょう。発掘調査からは弓削神社と思われる遺物は発見されていませんが、もう少し調査範囲を拡げると何かあるのかもしれないと思っています。当社のほうの御祭神は饒速日命、可美麻治命となっています。 Shikinaisha listed in the section of Wakae-gun, Kawachi Province in the Shinto name book.
