湯殿に関しては文献が全く残っておらず､どのような規模で､どのような役割を果たしていたのかは不明
しかし義景館跡と比べても規模の大きい回遊式林泉庭園の石組が残っている事から城主クラスの重要な役割を果たす場所だったんだろうと推測される

『戦国期にどの様に使われた場所かは未だ解明されていません』との注釈がありました。
