 Visited in May 1994. At that time, two yarn cherry trees were planted. I remember that the young leaves wet in the rain of May were beautiful.

その後､朝倉貞景によって再興され､それ以降は朝倉家の子女が入る尼寺となる
室町時代末期､朝倉義景を頼って一乗谷に入った後の室町幕府15代目将軍·足利義昭をもてなす為に作庭されたという池泉鑑賞式庭園の遺構
国の特別名勝である
Nanyoji is a temple built in the middle of the Muromachi period, during the Asakura Ujikage period.
After that, it was revived by Sadakage Asakura, and after that it became a temple where the children of the Asakura family entered.
The remains of a pond-viewing garden that was created to entertain Yoshiaki Ashikaga, the 15th shogun of the Muromachi Shogunate, after entering Ichijodani by relying on Yoshikage Asakura at the end of the Muromachi period.
