The tempura bowl is perfectly crispy, with succulent shrimp, flavorful okra, and a sweet brown sauce all on a bed of rice. If you want more of a kick, spice it up with the orange 7-spice mix. The curry has a slight bite to it that’s surprising (and refreshing!) amongst Japanese curry. The potato croquette is fresh and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The soba noodles are soft and go well with the green onions and sweet dipping sauce. And all this for 550 yen..! A new favorite in good old’ Hoshikawa.
