★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山科疎水のすぐ上。 車で行くには 軽自動車がいい。 曹洞宗のお寺で禅道場があった、 山の裾野なので 静かで落ち着いた環境。 境内も 見所があってなかなか良かった。
 Just above the Yamashina hydrophobic area. To go by car, a mini car is good. There is a Zen dojo at the temple of Soto sect. The precincts were also good because of the highlights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 私の代で終わってしまう家系で、代々の墓を後に次ぐ人がいない状態になってしまいました。そのため、今後のことを考えて墓じまいをすることにしたのです。しかし、遺骨はどこに納めようかと悩んでいた時に、永興寺に相談し、納骨をしてもらうことになりました。元々のお墓よりも家から近いため、お参りにも行きやすくなりましたし、きちんと遺骨を管理してもらえる場所に預けることができたので、全てを片付けることができて安心しています。代々の墓を墓じまいすることは心苦しかったですが、合同墓地で遺骨を納めるという選択肢はこれから増えると思いますので、悩んでいる方は一度相談してみるといいと思いますよ。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道元禅師ゆかりのお寺、ということですが生前の道元さんとは関係ないということみたいですね。京都市の説明板によれば、禅師の荼毘地に建てられたお寺が各地を転々として最終的にここに落ち着かれた、ということ。幽邃の地であり、新緑の頃に訪れたからか一層のこと美しく感じられました。
It's a temple related to Dogen Zenshi, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with Ms. Dogen. According to the Kyoto city's explanation board, the temples built in the Zen master's Oji area were finally settled down here and there.
