The factory remains large, and it is interesting to see the production flow well even if you look around, but it is recommended to explore slowly because of the hindrance!

There is also a big sign, so I don't think you can make a mistake. Please be careful as the road width for one ordinary car continues for 500m. It's a little difficult to walk because it's a steep slope.
The remains of the copper mine are well maintained and easy to see. The masonry and brickwork facilities are left behind, so I think it's a good idea to take a walk while thinking about the remnants of those days.
Also, be careful of beasts such as wild boars!

The ruins of the mining town of Fukiya Copper Mine, now a glimpse of the tiered flatlands and stone walls of the vast grasslands. I can't imagine that there was one townscape about 50 years after the mine closed.

After seeing the Besshi Copper Mine, I became interested in the copper mine and wanted to come here.
I thought that Bengala and others were also based on the prosperity of this copper mine.
At the signboard with Yoshioka Copper Mine ↙︎, I had a slightly unpleasant feeling from the rough road at the moment of turning, but I rushed forward like this.
The place where I arrived is a place that is not maintained at all.
He said that his companion, "The real ruins are scary," and left early.
I feel the potential as a facility from the remaining archaeological sites, and it is really a waste.
There is too much romance if you visit the mine shaft from here.
I pray that one day I will see the light of day, and I would like to withhold the 5 star rating.

When I went by private car, it was thrilling because it was narrow and mossy, and I went from a route that took a winding road on a steep slope.
The remains are very good.
It is surprising that the remains of this scale were in such a mountainous area.
I think there is no loss even if you look at it once.
If you love ancient Romans, you can enjoy it.

Some large remains are left.
When returning, it is easier to go on the left side of the road instead of the Fukiya Furusato village side road (on the right). Either way, you can return to Route 85.

This is the first copper mine in Japan to introduce a Western-style melting furnace. Is this the melting furnace equipment?
The road is a bad road, but you should definitely visit it after visiting the streets of Fukiya.
There was no signboard explaining the extra equipment, and there was just a copper mine trace in the mountain, so it was fun to be able to visit freely because it inspired my imagination.
One day, from the perspective of protecting the remains of the copper mine, it may only be possible to see it from a distance.
We recommend a tour by then.
