★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 二天門を降りたところに朱色のお稲荷さんがあります。これは後醍醐天皇が京都の花山院から吉野に落ち延びた際に、道に迷った天皇をお稲荷さんが導いてくれたたため、勧請したそうです。
There is a vermillion-colored Inari just off the Nitenmon gate. It is said that this was solicited because Inari-san led the Emperor Godaigo to the lost Emperor when he fell from Hanayama-in, Kyoto to Yoshino.
