一言断ると特に何か言われることもなく池に行けます。エサも売っているのでそれを買ってあげると元気よく鯉が食べます。そんなに広い所でもないですが、ほっこりした憩いの場です。

その活気もとうに盛りを過ぎ、いまやその賑わいもすっかりなくなってしまっていました。
そもそも観光客が持ち運ぶのに不便なお米などお土産として買うはずもないので、おそらくこのお店は津和野へ来た観光客へのサービスとして鯉を飼い始め、無料で見学させていたのでしょう。
かつてのような観光地の賑わいはありませんが、鯉は変わらず元気に泳いでいます。
