★ ★ ★ ★ ★ なぜ⁉️旧東海道呼続3丁目あたりに鎌倉街道の石碑があってびっくりです‼️鎌倉街道は東海道よりずっと古く、鎌倉・京都の二つの政治の中心地を結んだ大切な街道で、これが呼続を通っていたといわれています。言い伝えによれば、そのひとつに今の白毫寺(びゃくごうじ)の下に船着き場があり、ここから、桜台高校の東北、大樟(おおくすのき)の下あたりから渡し舟で野並の嫁ヶ茶屋のあたりに渡り、古鳴海から豊明村(市)の二村山を通って、沓掛(くつかけ)に出たと言われています。
