元々は新庄氏【麻生藩藩主】が藩内24ヶ村の総鎮守として祀ったものである。
毎年7月の最終土日（麻生藩時代は、旧暦の6月14日、15日）に行われている『馬だし祭』は、神輿と馬を【素盞嗚命（スサノオノミコト）】と【八俣遠呂智（ヤマタノオロチ）】に見立て闘わせる、正に『奇祭』と言うべき祭であり、市の指定無形民俗文化財に登録されている。

Originally, Shinjo [lord of the Aso domain] worshiped as a total guardian of 24 villages in the domain.
The "Mashi Dashi Festival", which is held on the last Saturday and Sunday of every July (June 14th and 15th of the old calendar in the Aso clan era), holds a mikoshi and a horse [Susano Onomikoto] and [Hachimata] It is a festival that should be called "a strange festival" that is to be fought against by Yamatono Orochi] and is registered as a designated intangible folk cultural property of the city.

The inside of the shrine is clean and maintained. There was a mark that I wore with Takebouki. ⛩️
