Right next to Joshin Dentetsu Yamana Station. The approach from Otorii goes under the railroad track. I recommend you to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2022年1月5日に初詣に行きました。源氏一族の流れをくむ新田氏の祖は、新田義重です。義重の子が、山名義範です。山名義範が、安元年中1175~1177年に宇佐八幡宮から勧請したのが始まりだそうです。武門の名族山名氏の総氏社です。
室町時代に後醍醐天皇の孫にあたる君長(ただなが)親王が、山名城主の世良田政義の娘との間に良王(よしたか)君をもうけられました。良王君が、すくすくと健やかに育ったと伝えられており、安産と子育ての神として崇められています。
鳥居前に10台分くらいの駐車スペースが有ります。左に更に進むと、線路を渡った所に駐車場が有ります。

There is a parking space for about 10 cars in front of the torii. If you go further to the left, there is a parking lot across the railroad track.

近くには、山名の駅が有り 高崎駅から乗り換えてもすぐですヨー(⌒▽⌒)
境内は、山の斜面に沿って建てられているので
荘厳 且つ 神秘に満ちた神社ですヨー(⌒▽⌒)
駐車場東には雛人形屋さん 境内右手には美味しい?パン屋?さんが有りますよ～(⌒▽⌒)?
また、山頂を目指して歩くと高崎遊歩道が整備されているので、ユッタリゆっくり散歩もイイですヨー(⌒▽⌒)(^○^)?
