★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tablet for ordering has an English language option that made ordering a breeze. We each ordered a “14 kinds plate” to sample a variety, as well as some short rib nigiri. We also had some green tea, beer, and an orange sour. Everything was wonderful. It came with some bean sprouts, Kim chi, and dipping sauce which complimented the meats. Definitely among the best meals we’ve had in Osaka or Kyoto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some restaurants are still closed for the New Year's holiday on Jan 3, so my husband and I were happy to find that Yakiniku Douraku was open today. At 6pm, we seemed to be the first ones to arrive, but the restaurant quickly filled up after that. We took about 80 min to eat, and a sign says it can take up to 2 hours, so it might be good to arrive not too long after 6pm if you're coming for dinner and not a late night snack.
We got two assorted sets to share, one "normal" meat and one Kobe meat, and they were a great way to try several different cuts. I like that we didn't just get all Kobe because that would've been too rich for me. We also got cabbage (which came with a yummy, savory sesame oil dressing) and a large rice. It's very easy to order in English on the tablet. For us, everything cost about 5,300 yen, which is a great deal for the quality and quantity. There are also fancier, larger sets available for ~10,000 yen if you want to really splurge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great dinner and atmosphere. Staff were great and very attentive. When we had questions, even though there was a language barrier, they were friendly and accommodating. Kobe beef was fantastic, with unique presentation. They have a good selection of various cuts, and meal plans to suit different appetites. It was very convenient to order with their iPads, they even had various language settings which made everything very straightforward. Hope to comeback next time in Osaka!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Original promotional review for reference (read below for real review): High quality meat! Nice and super fast service and really easy to order for people who speak English. The staff speaks English and you order through a tablet with an English menu. Highly recommend for travelers!!
EDIT: the above is the review I wrote as a part of a promotion where they offer free “Kobe beef” or dessert if you give them a review before you eat anything. I figured it’s free meat so why not, but the process was actually obnoxiously long as they require you to wait for your other food to come out so you can attach a photo of it. They also take a photo of your review (I don’t know what for). Then the Kobe beef came out and it was the worst cut of everything we ordered. It was horribly chewy and unlike the Kobe beef you imagine.
I wanted to leave this alone and leave this review as is, but I don’t want anyone else to be misled like I was. The reviews promotion misled me to believing this was going to be a lively place to eat delicious food and I had no idea they would pressure me into writing the review; it was completely empty for a Friday night and the meat was average or slightly above average. Not worth the obnoxious pressure to write a false review
EDIT: reducing to 1 star because my boyfriend actually got food poisoning after we ate here. Honestly I can’t even believe this happened, because the restaurant really did look clean, but it did and it sucks because it is ruining our vacation. Cannot recommend this place at all

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a really nice place. I came here by my self and they have seat for single customer. Environment is also very nice,clean and decent. I ordered Kobe beef combo, they have different kind of part collection and they are all really tasty. I definitely will recommend this place to friends or family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ English and Chinese menu are available. Food is great, very nice beef and seafood. There are different beef combination set (with different price ranging from 1580 yen to 12800 yen), and the a la carte options. Staff are friendly, can understand and communicate with basic English.
Bar seat and table seat are available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First night in Osaka and chanced upon this awesome BBQ restaurant with great ambience. The food here is delicious with reasonable price and superb quantity. Convenient digital ordering system that comes in English too. Staffs are friendly, helpful and fast. There is a wide variety of items to choose from the menu. A must try when you visit Osaka!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best JBBQ I've had! For the uninitiated: You order raw meat that you cook yourself on a grill that stands on your table. The Kobe beef and hanging tender were our absolute favorites! It's convenient to order via iPad and staff are quick and attentive. Will definitely come back next time we're in Osaka!
