D	Daniel Carlson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of the enclosures are OK, but most of them are really small and rather depressing. I got the impression that the staff don't really empathize with the animals at all. It was neat finding the statue of Babe Ruth, though.

J	John-Michael Lewis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to bring the kids. The zoo is definitely showing its age and some of the animals look really "sad" in their areas. But if you got young kids and they want to see animals, this is a nice place.

Take the local subway to Yagiyama Zoological Park stop, take the Central exit and elevator to level 5 for direct access to the gate of the zoo. This would take 2' only. I followed Google map and was told to take the West exit which ended up walking for 5mins to get to the gate. The highlights of the zoo must be elephant feeding (extra 100 yen) and goat/sheep petting. The sad thing was to see the polar bears and their enclosures. One of the two looked quite depressed and was doing this routine of walking around and doing one twirl each round for abt 10 times when we were there.
S	Satrajit Indu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place, with a nice collection of birds and animals. The reptile house was quite good, while the polar bear was my main attraction here! Good eateries inside. Worth spending half a day, with friends or family.
H	Harry Kurniawan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ always come here to have great time with my children. the facilities is getting better and better. except panda, I think they have all land animals, such as elephant, giraffe, polar bear, tiger, hippo, and rhino. easily reached by tozai subway line. I think their mascot is laser panda.

If you are in a family and one of the parents is a student then your family enters for free. However, the animals seem a bit depressed, especially the penguins!
