A	A Greer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very popular place for shaved ice. Reason for 3 out of 5 stars, a complete lack of English in an area which attracts international travellers, the long lines which requires one to write their name on a wait list outside the door. Many are refused service as the location does close early although they are with demand to extend their hours.
T	Tommy O'Neil on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place used to be super small and you would have to take a ticket and come back. Now they can seat about 40 people! Probably had to expand because the shave ice is so tasty everyone wants it. If your in the area you should definitely check it out. Worth the wait in the summer. Just walk right in in the winter. They close the food part of the shop from 12-1pm most days which doesn't show in the hours cause the store technically stays open. Just FYI. It's easy enough to kill an hour in the surrounding shopping area.

Every order comes with a very generous serving of shaved ice topped with fresh fruits and just the right amount of syrup and yogurt to satisfy the pallette. The staff is warm, friendly, and helpful. Customers are made to feel welcome as soon as they enter the shop. The shop is clean and very cozy. Special trinkets and souvenirs related to Nara line the walls and shelves and greet customers as they enter the shop. Prices are reasonable, and house water is complimentary. The waiting time from ordering to serving is about 5 to 8 minutes. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely go whenever I am in the neighborhood. Additional Notes: The lavatory and hand basin installations in Kakigori are certainly a pleasure to use.

I was drawn in by the line, and decided to try the persimmon kakigori which was topped off with delicious yoghurt and honey. Very refreshing after a long day, and very worth it. It was fun sitting on the bench and watching the staff make the kakigori up from scratch too

What is a life worth living? One dotted by restriction, responsibility and nutritional intelligence or one of pure, unrestrained sweetsu bliss? At this place, the answers to these profound questions are obvious. Order two kakigori per person and leave here without any outline between your corporeal body and the ethereal spirit of Mother Nature.
B	Brendan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best dessert I've ever had. Unique beyond belief and I've tried alot of desserts. Didnt need to queue or anything as I went on sat afternoon at like 2pm. The yoghurt like sourness complement the sweet ice perfectly. Wish I can go back for more
