w	wa nao on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ご飯が硬すぎてびっくりしました。他のお客さんが指摘したのか炊けてるご飯に水を入れていてさらにびっくり。せっかくのGWのお昼を楽しみにしていたのでがっかりでした。もう二度と行きません。 I was surprised that the rice was too hard. It is even more surprising that water is being added to the rice that you are cooking. I was disappointed because I was looking forward to the GW lunch. I will never go there again.

Only 1650 yen soba set or 2500 yen eel rice. The quantity is very small, unsatisfactory, and the operation is slow because it is made by myself. I'm asking for four of the same menu, but when the first one finishes eating, the last one comes.

Kawagoe seems to be famous for eels, and I wanted to eat eels, and because it was a hot day, I wanted to eat cold foods, so I went to this shop where I can eat both. Two options - soba and sashimi-don or soba and unagi - for lunch. The soba appeared to be store bought. Similarly, the unagi was not grilled on site. There are so many over-priced tourist restaurants in this area and it was nice that WAWA was reasonably priced, but the quality of the food was quite mediocre. This is not a “destination” eating spot and is likely Plan B or Plan C as tourists make their way down this popular street.
