Espresso is solid, mild with fruity predominance, lattè pretty much standard, not strong in coffee flavour as most of the public expects, and large (probably its downfall).
Worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there to try the nitro coffee. It was good but nothing extraordinary. Just an extra cold coffee. i think that the ice killed the niteo effect. May be ask it without ic e. But the cappuccino was just the best cappuccino I tried during my trip to Japan. At 2 min walk inside the metro station department store. It was a good cafe. The cookie, people was.....so good !!! A must try ^_^

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great artisan coffee. English menu available. Staff was friendly enough and fun to watch behind the counter. The shop is small with limited seating but cozy. Coffee and tea selection are delicious. Though the rasberry mocha (seasonal drink) can be on the sweet side, especially towards the end. The Latte Valencia was a nice balance of espresso, milk and orange flavor. Drinks are on the pricier side.

Taste of this Colombia pour over coffee is excellent. Worth all 750 yen.
Quality of the coffee is never better than this. I will be back someday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Verve is a chain that started in Santa Cruz, CA and I was surprised to see it at the Shinjuku station.
I think this is an overpriced coffee stop. There isn't much seating inside so it's a takeout coffee place. There's a nice area to sit outside overlooking Shinjuku Timesquare and the clock tower.
The worker couldn't get my digital payment to work so I had to use my card.
When we waited for our coffee, I saw a tote bag that was $100! Yes, $100! It had a tag on it that it's helping the people in India, but still $100?! It made me look at my latte like how much extra are we paying for this.
If you like the American latte type place, I would 2 mins to get Blue Bottle. Nice environment to sit and drink. Still expensive, but at least you have a nice place to sit and wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Valencia latte is my favorite. The fresh orange peel on top is absolutely delicious. All of the coffee is excellent and they have geisha, which is always a plus. If you go, get the Valencia latte and an espresso at the very least.
