★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 平日の午前に訪問。常連さんらしき方々が数組おられました。ピアノトリオが流れてたかな。とても丁寧な応対でまた訪問したくなりました。
Visited on weekday mornings. There were several groups of people who seemed to be regulars. I wonder if the piano trio was playing. I wanted to visit again with a very polite response.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 老舗ジャズ喫茶ということで、気仙沼に来たら訪れたいスポットのひとつでした。敷居の高いジャズ喫茶ではなく、気軽に喫茶店として入れるお店です。二軒隣に駐車スペースあり。スピーカーから流れる暖かいサウンドが心地よく、コーヒーの香りや歴史のあるカウンターの佇まいなど雰囲気に癒されます。
As it is a long-established jazz cafe, it was one of the spots I would like to visit when I came to Kesennuma. It is not a jazz cafe with a high threshold, but a shop that you can easily enter as a coffee shop. There is a parking space next to the two houses. The warm sound from the speakers is soothing, and you will be healed by the aroma of coffee and the appearance of the historic counter.

但し常連のお客様が集まる時間帯はちょっと賑やかかも。
お店は被災したけれどなんとか復旧して、昭和レトロな雰囲気はそのまま。
サイフォンで淹れるコーヒーはなんと300円、
カレーセット(コーヒー、ミニサラダ付き)500円。
トーストも数種類あり１枚単位で注文ができるので良いです。
土曜日限定メニューの焼きカレーはチーズたっぷりで、コーヒー付き650円と今どき珍しいお値段。
被災したときに、たくさんの方々の協力や支援があり、それに対する感謝価格なのかな。初代マスターの意思を受け継いで、愛されるお店を繋いでいこうとする意思を感じます。
ちょっとした休憩だけでなく、モーニングや軽いランチに利用できるお店です。
金曜日のみ夜の営業もしていますが、夜はコロナ感染者の状況をみて休むこともあるので、電話で確認したほうが確実ですね。

It is open only on Fridays at night, but at night it may be absent due to the situation of corona infected people, so it is better to check by phone.
