香川県綾歌郡宇多津町にある仙石秀久のお墓です。行基の開基と伝わるが詳細は不明。１３６２年の白峰合戦の際、細川頼之が当寺の住職に祈祷させたおかげで勝利できたため伽藍を再興している。天文年間（１５３２～１５５５年）、兵火により伽藍が焼失し、生駒氏の讃岐国主時代に冷遇され荒廃したが、松平氏が高松藩主になると庇護を受け再興している。
仙石秀久が讃岐を治めていた時、一揆が起き秀久は当寺の近くで首謀者を処刑したという伝承があります。
 "Utazu Town: Hidehisa Sengoku's Tomb"
It is the grave of Hidehisa Sengoku in Utazu-cho, Ayauta-gun, Kagawa Prefecture. It is said to be the opening of Gyoki, but the details are unknown. During the Shiramine Battle in 1362, Yoriyuki Hosokawa revived the temple because he was able to win thanks to the prayer of the chief priest of this temple. During the astronomical year (1532-1555), the cathedral was burned down by a soldier's fire and was devastated by the cold treatment of Mr. Ikoma during the Sanuki lord era, but when Mr. Matsudaira became the lord of the Takamatsu domain, he was revived.
There is a tradition that when Hidehisa Sengoku ruled Sanuki, a riot occurred and Hidehisa executed the mastermind near the temple.
