If you know only a castle that has been turned into a tourist area, you will think it is just like Mt. As a valuable document to know the construction of the castle at that time (Sengoku period), I wish that I like the castle selfishly, although I should designate it as a cultural asset in the prefecture or city.

It is the ruins of a medieval mountain castle built on the summit of Mt. Kuroyama, an independent hill in Gokenya, Kurashiki City. I do not know the age of the castle, but it seems that Mr. Uchida and Mr. Shiozu belonged to Mr. Mori as a residence during the Warring States period. At that time, the surrounding area was the sea. On the northwestern flank, there was an evacuation factory during World War II, and a concrete and brick water tower still exists. In the main enclosure, there is a water bowl in the second year of Ansei in the latter half of the Edo period, and the remains of the base of the altar, and the earthworks surround it. There are many remains such as Masugata Koguchi, Horikiri, Kirishi, Vertical Hori, Yokoyakage, Kuruwa, Kubori, Samurai Run, Dobashi, etc. It is a valuable mountain castle ruins where you can see the high level of technology and castle construction technology. It is strange that it is not designated as a cultural property.

It remains really clean and the earthworks in the southeast are cranking. When I got off the main enclosure, there was Yokobori. It refuses to be the IV Guo in the east of the main Guo. This horizontal moat also breaks and falls like a vertical moat to the south. This moat can also be hung from the earthworks of the main enclosure. In addition, the main enclosure and IV enclosure are connected by vertical earthworks, and it seems that they were used as a connecting road similar to the earthworks. However, maintenance has not been done at all, and in addition, Aedes mosquitoes are terrible. When I rushed with short sleeves and shorts, I was stabbed in about 30 places and was repulsed. Please be careful about "foot mosquitoes" that protect the castle.
