In the valley in the middle of the Tama River, the autumn leaves of Iroha ? are beautifully colored in late autumn. Especially along the promenade, the beautifully colored autumn leaves of the trees and the bridge match. From spring to summer, the landscape becomes a valley filled with green leaves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this area. Beautiful and a great walk/hike for as long or as short as you want. Easily accessible via train, and definitely check out the sake tasting area and the tofu restaurant here. Yum. Note that you can keep the sake glass and get discounts on extra tastings. Go for a few, have lunch or a walk, have more, etc. Worth it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place ! It's along hike. So wear something comfortable. You can also go in the water. You can do rafting as well. Few restaurants along the hikes. Absolutely breath taking

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The color of the river here is surreal. If you can be here during sunset or sunrise you will have to work at taking a bad photo.
There are walking paths along both sides of the river which occasionally have "stairs" down to the river itself.
I recommend sampling the sake at the distillery. Of course you'll like that one, it was delicious. Then you find out it's $250 for750 ml. The $20 one will have to do.
And when you start walking back to your ride, you realize your drunk. Not buzzed, but warmly drunk.
