n	noblesse oblige on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2020年11月15日日本画壇の巨匠、川合玉堂の作品を展示してある。玉堂が常に散策したゆかりの地である御岳渓谷に建設された美術館。建物の設計は、吉田五十八。庭園は中島健・吉田五十八によるもので、玉堂の作品以外でも楽しむ事ができる美術館だ。玉堂が15才の頃の写生から、晩年の作品や遺品までが展示してある。十代の頃のスケッチの繊細で緻密なタッチや写実性、年齢を重ねるにつれて更に成長していくさまを見る事が出来る。展示物は年に数度入れ替えがあるそうだ。庭は、枯山水の石庭で、外の大銀杏や御岳渓谷の山々を借景していて、とても素晴らしい庭だと思います。自分が訪れた時は、銀杏の黄葉にモミジの紅葉にとても素晴らしい時期に行く事ができ、素晴らしい景色を見る事が出来ました。庭は写真撮影OKです。施設はそれほど広くないし、展示物もけっして多くはないです。館内には、トイレ?もあり、ちょっとしたグッズ等も売っています。美術館の隣に併設されたお茶処?もあります。入館料は大人５００円。隣接する駐車場は、美術館の利用で無料になります。目の前を流れる多摩川、御岳渓谷の景色も良く、周囲を散策するのもオススメです。 November 15, 2020 Works by Kawai Gyokudo, a master of Japanese painting, are on display. When I visited, I was able to go to the yellow leaves of ginkgo and the autumn leaves of maple at a very wonderful time, and I was able to see a wonderful view. Photography is OK in the garden. The admission fee is 500 yen for adults. Adjacent parking is free with access to the museum.
