T	Tessa Rogers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfriendly to foreigners. Arrived here at 12:45pm, there were people seated inside with about four seats spare however we were told they were closed. As we waited outside deciding where else to go they let in someone else to serve. Attempted to use google translate to clarify why they were “closed” but letting Japanese people in, showed them their opening times and compared to the current time. They refused to type back in Japanese to translate and clarify and kept saying “closed, closed”. Very disappointing and rude attitude.

Didn't even make it through the door before being told off that the place was "closed" despite them already preparing food and us being within opening hours. Like others mentioned, you won't be allowed in unless you're a local and staff are blunt about this. No reservations allowed either

It was odd since we were right behind a couple of Japanese businessmen who were seated in an otherwise empty restaurant. While we were outside figuring out what to do next someone else (of Asian decent) walked in and was seated. We tried going in again and were refused entry again. They might just have a permanently closed to tourist policy.
J	Jay Chang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I say? I’ve been to a few dozen Michelin starred restaurants but this is my personal favorite. The consistency in their flavor from several visits is absolutely astounding. My favorite restaurant.
C	Chang Qi Ong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good Unagi restaurant. Grilled on the spot and the freshness of the eel can be appreciated. Eel bone is also delightfully fried. Only Japanese menu but some picture pointing from their tabelog page should do the trick.
H	Hanzhang Zhou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quaint little place that only seats 9 and prepares your eel on the spot. I was lucky to be able to walk in during lunch, but on some days they are fully booked. Menu is all handwritten in Japanese so be sure to have someone who knows how to read it with you. Eel meat was soft and fluffy yet flavourful, and they give you fried eel bones before your meal as an appetizer.
V	Vanessa L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reservations only! Had a wonderful experience at this eel restaurant. If you’re a tourist the menu is only in Japanese so make sure you use google translate or show them pictures. You can choose from a small, medium, or large eel on rice set. My party all ordered the small and it was already quite a lot of food. One of the best things about the meal was the fried eel bones for appetizer. I recommend this place to any eel lover.
