I am a master of engineering from a local national university. I applied for a scholarship in August, and the results came in February of the following year. I failed. At the time of the interview, it took about a day to travel by train from a distant place at my own expense. It cost about 10,000 yen (laughs). Why not buy a book for 10,000 yen? Why not eat delicious rice? There is nothing after all for this scholarship. Really please, if you don't give scholarship to engineering people from the beginning, please be clear. If you do not help others, please be clear. Let me know as soon as I get the result of the judging, it's inefficient, it takes so long, and are you really thinking about our poor students? So few of you apply from Tokyo Tech or Osaka University (laughs), they already knew about this scholarship. Thanks to you, I don't want to be involved in any Rotary club activities. I don't believe this organization anymore. I can only hear the name and feel bad. Other international students in Japan, if you are a science or engineering student, please ignore this scholarship.
