★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 清滝より月輪寺方面へ舗装道を徒歩約二キロ、月輪寺さんへの登山口にあるトタン屋根の倉庫が見えたら左折し約10分程、川ずたいに山を登ると鳥居が見えてきます。その名の通りその昔、空也上人が修行されたと伝わる場所で、京都近郊では最大級の幅約１メートル高さ約15メートルの圧巻の大瀑布です。今でも修験者が修行されているとのことで、ひしひしとパワーを感じる神聖なスポットです。本当に心が洗われた様な気分になりますので、是非、愛宕神社、月輪寺と併せて訪れて下さい。至るところにマムシ注意の立札がありました、気を付けて下さい。
