★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 車両基地の隣になり遊びながら電車見れますがますが、定期的に草刈りしてると思いますが草がボーボーの時に行くと公園内に入るのを躊躇します。

なお、公園としての特徴のある遊具はありません。

ひたちなか市内に整備された約280（2019年現在）の公園のうち、ここ田彦中学区にある22の公園のうちのひとつ。
東に道路を挟んでJR勝田車両センターがあるため、園内からも車両が頻繁に行き来するのを見ることができます。
遊具は滑り台、ブランコ、鉄棒、ベンチと充実していることに加え、丘になった公園中央部に大きな樹木が林立しており、ちょっとした探検気分を味わうことができそうです。
公園名の読みは「うちご」で、同学区内の公園群のなかでは大島公園に次ぐ敷地面積を有しています。

Of approximately 280 parks (as of 2019) maintained in Hitachinaka city, this is one of 22 parks in the Tahiko junior school district here.
Because there is the JR Katsuta Vehicle Center across the road to the east, you can see the vehicles coming and going frequently from the park.
Playground equipment is full of slides, swings, horizontal bars, benches, and large trees stand in the center of the park, which seems to be a little exploring.
The name of the park is “Uchigo”, which is the second largest park in the school district next to Oshima Park.
