年季の入った建物ですが、コロナ対策もしており使いやすいです。レストランもあります。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 現在のNPOプラザは、かつて宮城県図書館があったところで、図書館の建物を改修して2001年4月に「みやぎＮＰＯプラザ」――宮城県内のNPO活動を推進するための中核機能拠点として宮城県が設置しました。
市民活動のためにコピーや印刷機の利用、貸室を低料金で使用することができます。
誰でも自由に使えるフリースペースの交流サロンにはテーブルと椅子が用意されており、簡単な打ち合わせなどがおこなえます。無料WiFiが使えるようになっているので、何かと便利。また、パソコンとプリンターは、使用時間と印刷枚数に限度がありますが、カウンターで申し込みすれば無料で利用できます。
敷地内には梅や桜、モクレンなどが植えられており、春先にはきれいな花を咲かせています。

Plums, cherry blossoms, magnolias, etc. are planted in the site, and beautiful flowers bloom in early spring.
